StarChef.NET allows you to link multiple pictures to each recipe that you create. Image file formats that are compatible with StarChef.NET are bitmaps (.bmp), JPEGS (.jpg) and GIF files (.gif).
To link a picture to your recipe make sure you are viewing the recipe in edit mode.
Click on the Pictures tab then click on the upload image link.
This will open the Image Upload Console window. Click the Browse button to locate the picture file on your computer. Once you have located the image file click the Upload button to upload the image file to the web server. Your picture will be displayed on the right hand side of the window.
NB: Try not to upload large image files as this will take a long time, we recommend that you resize your images before uploading them. An ideal size for StarChef.NET images is 400 pixels wide.
Finally enter a brief description of the image and then click the Save button to return to the main Menu screen. The screen will refresh to display your picture on the Pictures tab.
To enter multiple pictures click the upload image link and repeat the process.
To remove an image click the delete this image link. For multiple pictures the order can be specified using the order drop-down. To specify which picture will be the default picture use the default check box - this is the picture that will display in the reports and on the overview screen.
